MFA took over as lead architect for the Mercantile Hotel development. Initially receiving a grant of permission to increase room capacity to 105 new hotel bedrooms. MFA are project managing the construction of the development due to be completed in June 2024. The development will retain and improve on the protected elements of the existing buildings and regenerate the commercial uses of the ground floor, such as the bar/lounge, restaurant etc.
